pvrtc4 textureformat is not supportted in cocos2d-x?

i want to optimize memery usage in ios, so i convert the texture that used in model to pvr.ccz with textureformat pvrtc4, and change then texture name in model.json, but it do not work, the role is whole black.
if i create a simple sprite by this pvr texture, it diaplay correct.
does anyone kowns why?

when i debug in xcode, i found that the texture is loaded correctly! then shader code is not opened, so i was confused
