  • Looks like it applies to anything heavily deformed, not just combined parameters

  • Hi @SaeKaneko

Thank you for using our product.

In cases such as this one, where the parent warp deformer undergoes significant distortion and the child warp deformer is positioned in an area where it protrudes considerably, using the ‘expand warp deformers based on child outside range’ function may produce the distorted result you reported.
    This is a design specification.

This can be mitigated by avoiding significant distortion of the parent warp deformer or reducing the extent to which child warp deformers extend beyond their boundaries.

As it is difficult to predict such distortion issues using Cubism Editor's functions, we plan to inform users in future manuals that distortion may occur in cases like this one.

    Best regards.
  • Just for clarification, would the second video in the comments be considered highly deformed? I wish to know to avoid this in the future.

Thank you for all your hard work!
  • Hi @SaeKaneko

    I shall address your query.

While it cannot be stated categorically, should the parent deformer be subdivided excessively finely, or should the child deformer extend significantly beyond the parent deformer, the intended shape may not be achieved.

    Thank you for your understanding.
