[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated September 18, 2025)
We cannot guarantee the compatibility of the current releases of Live2D Cubism Editor and Cubism SDK with macOS Tahoe.
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.
Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

Bug with 5.2
Hello devs
I had an issue with 5.2 not opening and taking it up all my memory. When it first got released I was rigging a model fine.
Then next day it wouldn't open just white screen I thought it was my ram so I got more ram and tried to open it but that wasn't the case. My problem was not fixed I had to download an older version of live2d to get it to work

I cannot load the log file if live 2d doesn't work. It doesn't open and it takes up 100% of my cpu same with the newer live 2D version it just white screens.
Check the following manual (If the Editor cannot be launched) and try to find the folder where the direct log files are stored.

We checked the log you sent us and this was the viewer log, not the editor log.
Please double check the location of the editor log.

How many monitors are connected to this PC?
If you are using more than one, use one and check that you can connect the graphics board to the monitor and start it up.
If this does not improve the situation, try creating a new Windows user and installing the product.
Please refer to Microsoft's instructions on how to create a new user.

This case was solved by deleting (or quarantining) the configuration file.
If you experience similar problems, please try deleting the configuration file.
Please note that we recommend that you do not delete the configuration files completely even if the problem occurs, but rather rename or otherwise quarantine these files, as they may be necessary for subsequent queries.
