[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated October 16, 2025)

macOS v26 Tahoe is now supported!
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.
Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

Dark UI Theme

Hello, I would be interested in a darker theme for the UI. (this is a rough example)


It would be very helpful when using the program at night, or if you just want something that's softer on the eyes.

I also have one more request, which is to merge the taskbar icons into one. I have a shortcut to CubismEditor4.exe but it creates a new program on the taskbar when I open it (image example):


I would prefer it if the launcher was the program itself, instead of opening a new program on the taskbar.

    Dark Theme will be very useful! With the new technologies of 2K and 4K monitors a dark theme is better.

    Highly agreed. I am trying the PRO free trial right now, but no dark theme is a huge deal breaker for me. I cannot work on projects for very long when the UI is so bright. Very few people realize how helpful dark theme is, and goes unmentioned. Hopefully someone implements it.

    I think we really need this, since most Live2d cubism projects require long hours of work. When i use dark UI softwares, my eyes don't hurt as much as they do with Live2d 😭 this is really really essential

    Hello there! Please make the Dark Mode Live2d. My eyes would stop burning after spending alot of hours on rigging. The dark mode is really helpful and will make user's eyes feel less tired.

    I really hope that this can be implemented. Most other art related programs have a dark mode, and it's surprising that Live2D does not support this.
