One or two deformer(s) for x and y angles?
Let's say I have a character will move her head in both X and Y angle:
Option 1:
1 deformer, set motion parameters in Angle X and AngleY
Option 2:
2 deformer, 1 has motion parameters in Angle X only; 1 has motion parameters in Angle Y only, and set one as another one's parent
I wonder which option is preferred?

the result of option 2 and 1 is same, but option 1 make your model cleaner and render lighter.
After some trial and error, I also find option 1 is easier to understand/control
