[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated October 16, 2025)

macOS v26 Tahoe is now supported!
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.

Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

Help, I can't export the moc3 file

Originally, the model could be exported normally, but one day it suddenly couldn't be exported anymore. It can't even export images or save files. Whether it's a model currently being worked on or a model source file that could previously be exported, none of them can be exported (this text was translated using a translator, so there may be some translation errors).

I'm sorry, this is my first time using the posting feature, so I'm not very sure about how it works. I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes.
I'm not sure how to upload images, so I can't provide the relevant records.
Because the matter is very urgent, I desperately need help. I need to export the model I created.

- Live2D Software Version: Cubism Editor 5.2.03
- Windows 11
- CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF 3.20 GHz
- Graphics Specifications: GeForce RTX 5090
- Memory: 64GB

  • Can you post or show a pic of the log, it should be red and should show what problem is having, there can be multiple reasons why it doesn't render

Hello, may I ask if you can see the picture like this?
  • Yes just like that, that error i think it was a corrupted artmesh, you could try deleting half of the model and try rendering and then slowly pinpoint the problem or wait for l2d staff to help you >_ <

Thank you for your reply. I might not have explained the situation clearly. All source files that cause errors can run and export normally on another computer, so I believe the issue might be a conflict between the computer system and the software (approximately?). In any case, I sincerely appreciate your response! I also look forward to assistance from the official support team. (Note: This translation may contain errors due to the use of a translation tool. Apologies in advance.)
  • Hi @dao_daodao_dao

Thank you for using our product.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

This appears to be an issue with the JDK used to develop the Cubism Editor, and may occur occasionally.

Please try rewriting the contents of "CubismEditor5.bat" in the following directory:
    C:\Program Files\Live2D Cubism 5.0

    Right-click "CubismEditor5.bat" and select "Edit,"
and add the following to the text file between "-Duser.language=ja ^" and "%MAXMEMORY% ^":
    -Djava.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort=true ^

    Does this resolve the issue?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you very much! I successfully exported the source file. May I ask if I can take a screenshot of your reply and post it on other platforms so that others who encounter the same problem can modify the corresponding file in time? (I apologize if there are any translation inaccuracies due to the use of translation software.)
