Hello there,
I have recently started delving deeper into Live2D animation after getting comfortable with the basics of rigging and physics. While I have successfully created a few simple character animations; I am now looking to elevate my skills and tackle more complex; nuanced movements. I was hoping to get some advice or tips from the experienced users in this community.
I have been working with the physics settings; but sometimes my characters hair or clothing feels either too rigid or overly exaggerated. How do you strike the perfect balance for a natural look?
I have seen some animations with incredibly lifelike expressions. What are the best ways to layer parameters for subtle emotional shifts without overwhelming the timeline?
I am experimenting with props that involve multiple parts like a folding fan or a dangling charm. What is the best way to rig and animate these so that they feel cohesive and synchronized with the characters movements?
Also, I have gone through this post;
https://community.live2d.com/discussion/1992/seeking-tips-for-improving-live2d-animation-skills-salesforce-marketing-cloud which definitely helped me out a lot.
Lastly; if anyone is open to sharing examples of their work or walk throughs of their processes; I would be thrilled to see them. I find it so inspiring to see how others bring their ideas to life.
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.

If you don't mind a bit of self-promotion, I have a playlist here of my workflows and tutorials.
The tutorials are simple but should still be helpful. ^^
Regarding layering parameters and animations, I'd probably focus on learning how to animate primary and secondary actions. For my animation process, I storyboard, animate the primary actions (the big movements following the storyboard, body, camera, etc.), then I animate secondary actions (showing environment, personality, emotion, etc.) and then I'd add in the details.
I'd focus on these first!!
When you want to try more advanced stuff Eggutarto (an amazing Live2D animator) has a course available with lots of exercises and project files. You can search them up! It's a paid course but I think it's really worth it.
Best of luck ^^
