[About macOS Sequoia] (Updated October 22, 2024)
Live2D Cubism Editor 5.1.02 now supports macOS Sequoia.
Other Live2D Cubism products currently released are not guaranteed to work on macOS Sequoia.
Please refrain from upgrading macOS, as it may not operate properly.
Live2D shortlinks in Help menu are broken
Live2D shortlinks that uses
https://link.live2d.com/ URL has been down for almost a month now. Any options in Help menu leads to browser giving SSL warning, and if skipped that leads to 404 page.

Thanks for using our products.
First tell us what browser you are using and its version.
Secondly, you say you skipped the warning, but what exactly is the operation?
Please attach a screenshot of the warning if you have one.
Finally, please check if you have HTTPS-First Mode configured in your browser.
Best regards.
This is what I see when I access the URL.
If I chose to skip the warning, I see this.
If I open the URL in Firefox, it will redirect to correct page as normal.
But if I changed the URL to HTTPS, it'll also show similar warning.
Again I'm not sure why it's not working because I haven't changed any settings in my browser, and it's always worked in my default browser before.
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the phenomenon in our environment. (Microsoft Edge 129.0.2792.79)
Here is what we currently know.
A 404 error occurs because the redirect to https://link.live2d.com/ is not set.
We believe that all URLs in the Editor's help menu are used that connect to http://link.live2d.com/, such as http://link.live2d.com/home5, and that there are no https ones.
It is not clear from the Editor side why it is trying to connect to https://link.live2d.com/ if it is not configured in your browser or security software.
We are looking into the server settings, but currently do not know the cause.
Let me confirm three points based on these.
1
When you say ‘Help menu’ in the Editor, do you mean the part shown in the image?
2
Which of the Editor's help menus causes the phenomenon when pressed? All of them?
3
Can you connect directly to https://www.live2d.com/en/ in Microsoft Edge?
Best regards.
3. Yes that link is working.
I noticed it'll try to connect to http:// link first, then the browser redirected it to https:// version that doesn't work. I also tried it in my phone browser, switching between WiFi and Mobile Data, switching other DNS and VPN, still no luck.
I don't know if this is relevant, but I ran into other Japanese site that shown same SSL error, so I wonder if this is a much larger issue from the SSL provider itself.
The case will be considered for correspondence.
However, we are sorry, but it will take time.
Best regards.

I ran into another Japanese website with similar error that leads me to that FAQ page. Hope you can look into it.
