Feature Request: Export model files only without Texture Atlas

In cases where only model parameters are updated, perhaps it can save time when re-exporting large models with minor updates

Comments

  • Just out of curiosity, I've never exported a large model before. How long does it take?

with my PC, 2-3 minutes. I have a decent processor and a lot of RAM though so I imagine it's longer for most people. There's also an additional one-time delay to load texture settings, so if you're quickly opening a file just to make a minor edit and export the model without touching the texture it can still take ~5 minutes or more of waiting sometimes. It adds up!
  • Thank @TheArtGun for your reply!
3 min! I still find that to be quite a bit of time. It's certainly a lot of time when it piles up.
