What does the minus sign on the left side of parameters names mean in the animator?

Can you please explain whats the minus sign at the left side of the parameters in live2d animator.
i cant find the details any details on the help pages. when i click it nothing happens.. still, i believe its there for a reason.

i think it's for hiding parameters that you don't need. you just need to select with the minus button and hit "shy".
