Viewer Wont Load Expressions / Sample Files Invalid
I ran into this issue for basically... all day. Needed to use Cubism Viewer. Thought the best way to learn the interface for what I needed was to follow the tutorial on the interface and use the stock models supplied by Live2D. Can't go wrong if you're using the same files, right?
Nope. I think the sample models are out of date. Took me forever to find out how to open it, constantly told it's an Illegal file. The file looks the same. Opened the animation file in Live2D Cubism (only one that would open anywhere), it opens a modeler file. I export it for the Viewer, the new file opens.
Spend forever trying to drag the expressions in, no error box just nothing happens.
Eventually, I find the issue, the file format is outdated. The sample pack's expressions are "exp.json" not "exp3.json". Took my dyslexia forever to get that.
Anyway, now they'll open but ofc the file information didn't get saved. Is there any way to fix this?

The files included in the sample data vary by model.
Please note that the data structure is clearly described for each data.

Which sample data is the problem?
What is the name of the character?
Best regards.
