Live2D Severe Lag

As soon as I open the program, I have severe lag. I have this lag before I even open a file, and across versions. I have tried both 4.0.06 and 4.0.05, and had the same issue. I have increased the amount of RAM the program can use, updated Java, and my own drivers, and cannot figure out what the problem is. Any help?? This is my first time using the program, and it does not make me hopeful.

I have a GeForce RTX 2070 Super and 16GB of RAM

Live2d lags so much, when i open the app itself it lags and it takes like 30-40 mins for my psd file to load. And well it crashes most of the time. The latest version and beta version are both laggy as hell.

What sort of processor do you have (I assume something decent since you've got a RTX 2070)?
I noticed some lag spike today when I opened up a project, but it was my CPU spiking, not Memory.

I ended up having to hard reset my PC to get it to work. I don't know if there were drivers that were interfering with it, another program was creating an issue, or what. It works flawlessly now, though
