[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated October 16, 2025)
macOS v26 Tahoe is now supported!
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.
Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

Live2D Severe Lag

As soon as I open the program, I have severe lag. I have this lag before I even open a file, and across versions. I have tried both 4.0.06 and 4.0.05, and had the same issue. I have increased the amount of RAM the program can use, updated Java, and my own drivers, and cannot figure out what the problem is. Any help?? This is my first time using the program, and it does not make me hopeful.

I noticed some lag spike today when I opened up a project, but it was my CPU spiking, not Memory.
