Help! Problems exporting movie (Background)

I have a problem when exporting a movie, and that is that when I put a background of any color and export the animation, in the video the background looks black. I have tried uninstalling the program and creating a video with a green background and it keeps giving the same problem.

Ok, so I finally found out how to do that, so when you export, on the bottom it says Show Canvas, put a checkmark on that, then the colour you put on your canvas will show up when you export!
