RAM Usage keep Increasing
Hello, I'm using Live2D Cubism 3.3.03
The Ram usage keep increasing till unlimited while working on it. It won't going down even though I leave the software untouched.
- Live2D Software Version: Cubism Editor 3.3.03
- OS & Version: Windows 10 64bit
- PC Model: Desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- Graphics Specifications: AMD RX480 8GB
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 32GB DDR4
When I switch using the older version (Live2D Cubism Modeler 2.1) there is no issue like that, RAM usage is normal. and it can went down even though I leave the application open.

Hello, I have a similar issue:
I can create and edit models, but if i try to animate a model or lead an
existing animation (i managed to create one small Animation) it gets
stuck on creating model track and uses as much ram as it gets. i didn´t
find the Download for version 2.1 but i tried other versions and it had
the same problem.

Here is the Live2D staff.
Thank you for your interest in our product.
-Does this problem also occur when using a sample model (with no editing)?
Please try it on these sample models.

-Do you have multiple tabs open in the Cubism Editor?
Does the problem in this case also occur when only one tab is open?
-Do you have a lot of model files attached to your animation files?
If there are too many, the editor may become heavy.
-Give me the model/animation file.
(Please use an upload site)
Best regards.
In my case I got it working. The issue was with the Lipsync And blink settings. I have done another model Withaout anything in these settings and its now working with less memory used.
Thanks For the Help though!
In that screen shoot I upload before, I'm using the sample model Miara.
Now here I'm using Hiyori sample model, and this is what I got:
I was just play with the parameter around 3 - 5 minutes, and the Ram still keep increasing and won't come down.
@kopikopi
Thank you for your reply!
Please try it with [Mark] and [Jin Natori].
I would like to know how the RAM usage varies between simple and complex models.
We are also examining the possibility that the blink and lip-sync settings may be contributing to the problem.
We would appreciate it if you could tell us more about the amount of RAM used.
Best regards.
It works really well at first but the memory usage keeps slowly increasing, especially troublesome in animator mode.
Runs fine in modelling mode but after a few minutes in animator it start throttling.
Only one tab open in animator
Only one single photoshop file with 20~ layers is imported.
Had same issue yesterday. Closing Live2D and then opening again, loading just the animation file helped.
Seems like a memory leak...

Thank you for your contact.
This is Live2D Support.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
・Please let me know at what timing you see the memory increase when operating the animator.
(e.g., is it only when both modeling and animator are open, right after importing the target model, when playing animation, right after manipulating parameters, etc.)
・Please check if you can see the symptom in the sample model.
DL site: https://www.live2d.com/en/download/sample-data/
・Please attach a log file of the timing when you can confirm that memory has increased.
Please follow the instructions in the attached image to get the log file.
We appreciate your cooperation
Thank you.
