Cubism 3.0 wont even start

I double click the icon and the splash screen comes up but then i get an error box reading

Sorry, but an error has occurred at startup, Please contact customer support

The best i can give you guys as far as troubleshooting are the log files.


Hopefully someone will be able to figure this out and help me get this running.

I have the same problem. Worst as far as I am concerned. I just double click the icon and nothing happens... No splash screen or something like that.. nothing.

I am also getting this error. I click the application and my cursor just spins for a little but nothing ever loads, not even the splash screen. 2.1 works just fine though.

I have found the solution (at least in my case). Probably other users have the same issue and is that your Windows usernames have spaces. In my case, my Windows user folder is Black Z Studios. It contains spaces and CubismEditor3.bat does not works well with this.

Try to modify the file "CubismEditor3.bat" in "C:\Program Files\Live2D Cubism 3.0". Add the " " in this line:

set LOG_DIR=%APPDATA%\Live2D\Cubism3_Editor\log -----> ADD ----->

set LOG_DIR="%APPDATA%\Live2D\Cubism3_Editor\log"

if you check the CubismEditor3.bat console output, it will not generate erros, and splash screen will show and Cubism Editor starts.

I hope you could solve the problem with this solution.

It seems that an error occurs when "space" is put in the user name of the PC environment.
This bug is going to be fixed in version 3.0.02 scheduled to be released today.

The opengl error message is often displayed when your PC does not meet the requirements of the Cubism Editor.
In rare cases, you may see it even if your graphics board driver is old.
If you ask us questions without any information about the PC environment you are using, we have nothing to judge.
Please understand.

Edition : Windows 10 Pro
processor: Intel Core i5-2400CPU @ 3.10GHz
installed RAM: 4.00GB

i guess the program needs a graphic card , i will buy one as soon as possible, also i apologize for the late response

-Your computer does not meet the requirements for Cubism Editor.

-Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000

Memory: 4GB/4096MB RAM
