I'm creating a visual novel and thought it would be fun to share my progress here for the character development because I am hoping to incorporate live2d for it.
This is the result of about 3 days in photoshop and 2 days learning about live2d. Only as far as cubism modeler, I have not made animations yet, this was just from the default preview. It was daunting trying to even comprehend how the software works, but finally starting to understand how to do basic things.
Im moving to Japan very soon, so hoping this project can takeoff while I'm there

welcome to the community zeus! if you need help with anything just ask ^^
That looks great for 2 days of learning Cubism!?!? Yeah, it would be cool if you could share your progress here.
By the way, are you going to live anywhere near Tokyo?
@andi.g@live2d Thanks and I definitely will! And yes I will be living in Hachioji, Tokyo!! Do you live in Japan as well?
Yes, I do. There's going to be a Live2D event in June (or was it July?) held in Tokyo so why not drop by?
Your Live2D Model is Cute!!
Do you make the Visual Novel in the Unity game engine ?
(or cocos2-dx, TyranoBuilder etc)
Please tell me if there is your recommended Visual Novel Tool .
For this one I am building in Tyranobuilder right now, but I did consider unity for a little while
However, I am more comfortable with web development and only recently learned c#, so Tyranobuilder is the easier option for me at the moment ><
