It's a 2 player game you can play against the computer or a human - you can even have 2 computer players battle it out against each other! The rules are quite simple: The player first to touch his side of the screen after the signal wins. I'm pretty sure it would have been a big hit if I'd polished it more .
I am a very big fan of novelty, but I'm also relatively new to Live2D. I don't see the typical Live2D guy/girl on the screen. So I believe you are using Live2D in a different, original way? Please tell me how you're using it! I love new ideas like these.
There was this guy at my previous job that was unbeatable at rock-scissors-paper so I always wanted to create a small game I could beat the crap out of him. When I had to create a small project using Live2D I thought: hey, why not just combine the two? So I pretty much abused Live2D for the 2 male characters that hand over the flowers to the sleeping beauty . I did the whole thing in Unity without any prior experience with Live2D on a weekend including the graphics. As not everything in the cubism editor was intuitive to me, I ended up going for a pixel-style look due to time constraints. I basically used a mixture of adjusting parameters and adjusting transparency to create the in-game "animations", if you can call them that , from code, and didn't use the cubism animator at all. As everything besides the music and sound effects is created by me, I think I could post the whole Unity project excluding the Live2D library, the music and the sound effects here if you're interested.
i made this a couple of months ago, i've changed some things in the model since then and have been looking for a voice actor to maybe do a visual drama cd sorta episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=401RjztGdrQ
I held a session this Monday at this Unite in Tokyo on one thing I'm currently working on. The video of the session hasn't been released yet, but the slides are out - and in English . You can find them here.
Hi, this is my WIP / Demo, live2d using Unity 5, the project is a visual novel game intended for mobile device and PC (maybe mac). This demo is using my own original characters. rodadewa.net/unity/CyrenBayTest/ more of my artworks on : ronggo.deviantart.com
I'd like to request feedback on it, because I'd like to have the Kickstarter polished with your insights! There is a section at the top where you can submit your comments. Thank you in advance!
HAREM PROTAGONIST'S KICKSTARTER AND STEAM GREENLIGHT WILL BE UP
THIS WEEKEND
And I'd be really thankful for you support and votes - because they matter a lot!
I'm nervous. And excited. I've worked on this for a while now, and I strive to make impressive dating sim games in the market - and Live2D has helped me a lot with impressing people with my previews and animations, and I'm so thankful.
I'm going to make another post when its up, but BE INFORMED! THIS WEEKEND! Your votes and support mean a LOT, and I'd appreciate it so hard if you could help me out, even if just a bit!
Good luck with your Kickstarter! I like the tongue in cheek tone you're taking with the campaign and I think you will have no problem getting funded if you can reach your audience.
I've tried to remake the "tango tango" Tutorial that was found on the live2D tumblur. Thing is the tutorial and the SDK it uses is out of date, nor does it explained it's code very well. At all.so I took up the mantle of trying to remake the thing from...relative scratch. By that I mEan the sample app in the current SDK as of me posting this.
I got it 90% done, it's just that the emotions needed for the quiz are not in there and I have no idea how to add them dispite my attempts to find out , I think I might have to go to the editor if I want to do that. Sucks, but thems the breaks. I can't post it now cause I'm just on my phone, but I was thinking of just releasing it open source. It was normally a tutorial after all, and cubism desperately needs more of them, especially on things like deformors and unity integration, among other things
Sooner or later I want to use this to make a platformer, just to try it. A game where you use a spear or staff to solve puzzles and fight, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there
...still a bit salty about how there was just one thing I couldn't figure out to make it fully work but eh, life of a programmer I guess.
I'm currently in the process of creating a Live2D model for a private project and having a lot of fun with it! There is an entire body attached to the head that I'm still working on too. This is the first time I made a front facing model. While being able to use the reflect tool for the eyes and horns saved me time, it still was WAY more work then I had anticipated to make all the head directions match up. But I think the end result is worth it :]
Nokia Isoevo from webcomic Immortal Nerd I made this to celebrate the first anniversary of the comic which is 13.11.2016. This is the second Live2D character I have done.
This game is part of a United Nations media campaign to raise awareness about what it was like for the children of the Germans after WW2 ended, specifically the Lebensborn children. (You may be familiar with them if you've seen the Man in the High Castle.)
I'm one of the developers. The game is being made by Sarepta Studio and Teknopilot in Norway. Please check out the game!
The child's personality develops based on the choices you make when you nuture them. Most importantly it's reflected by his movements and facial expressions.

Seeing your Unity project posted here would be cool!
You'll find a folder containing a "README.txt" that contains basic instructions.

As I work on the engine and bring it to a more developed state, I'll be creating D bindings for the Live2D DX11 SDK.
Here are some profile animations, sprites by me and Syrah, movement made by @Wai !
Here is a preview of how it currently looks like: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/215870777/1320811437?token=c9da6fba

You can download this for FaceRig in Steam Workshop.
I also made a time-lapse video of the making process.
