Why are "Quicktime-related features unavailable" on OS X?
I am a Mac user, and I cannot successfully export movie in any version of animator.
I looked up for the instructions, but none of them worked.
At the same time, I cannot load the models with the Aftereffect pulgin.
It just said invalid index in indexed group and stuck.
So now I am kind of out of choice..

Live2D Community - QuickTime 7.78 is okay?
I'm hoping to be improved in future Live2D version up .I have the newest version of QuickTime installed, which is QuickTime 10.4, and I installed a compatible version, QuickTime 7.6.6, but the animator still does not work. Then I tried to install the newest version of QuickTime I can find on the Apple website, which is QuickTIme 7.7, but it cannot be installed in my computer because I cannot remove the QuickTime 10.4.
Now I am totally lost.
I had a similar problem when I tried to export in movie file. My computer is PC though using windows 10 so I'm not sure if this will help you solve it. I found this link very helpful: http://community.live2d.com/discussion/comment/187/#Comment_187
My solution was to do the Java part which I didn't have it check when I installed it.
I would suggest reinstalling QT 7.6.6 and check the java part.
I hope you can find your answer. Good luck.
