Cubism Editor 5.2 Free version, 2 normal parameters with 1-3 Blendshapes?

edited February 4 in Bug

After the 5.2 update, I came across this line, it confused me and I have a question to ask for clarity.

Let me introduce myself first.
As I am a VTuber model rigger in the free version framework, riggering models with limited tools and features to be as efficient as possible is what I am doing. And to make sure I am doing it right and not violating the program's terms of service by secretly using bugs or glitching, I came here to ask for clarification. Please take care of me.

I tested as I understand it as follows:
1. In version 5.2, I can't add Blendshape when the item already has 2 normal parameters (which in previous versions, it can be done already. I understand that the update fixes the problem in the line is the fix for point 1, right? Because I'm a little confused about the translation)

2. On the other hand, if I make the normal parameter only 1 or nothing, I can add Blendshapes up to 3, and when I go back to add the normal parameter, it can still be done and saved, which is different from the case in point 1 (it seems like a glitch).

3. But from understanding point 1 and the confusion in point 2, I have the following questions:

Q1: Is it a glitch to be able to make an item that already has 2 normal parameters and add another 3 Blendshapes?

Q2: Can 1 item have up to 3 Blendshapes?

Q3: From questions 1 and 2, this is what I understand:
"Fixed a problem in the FREE version,"
"where new normal parameters could not be created"
"for models containing 3 or more parameters for blendshapes." is to fix the issue in the FREE version that cannot create normal parameters at the time The model item already has 3 Blendshape parameters → This really confuses me because the free version has a maximum of 2 normal parameters, right? And Blendshapes also have a maximum of 2 and may count as a parameter type as I originally understood.

Q4: So, is having 2 normal parameters plus 1-3 Blendshapes a glitch or a feature?

Update: Ah, I see, that fixing the problem is the problem in this image.
When there is already a Blendshape parameter 3 in the version before 5.2, it is not possible to add a normal parameter.

Which the issue I wrote will immediately become another case. So I still want the answer and clarity as I asked.

But deep down, I really want this issue to be a feature that works in the free version. At least, if in the free version, an object can have no more than 2 normal parameter keyframes, then having Blendshape as the 3rd keyframe would be somewhat useful. On the other hand, if this usage method that I mentioned can actually be used without violating the free version, at least the free version is still limited to having only 3 Blendshapes, so I think it should be okay and fair. But if the staff sees this issue as a glitch that needs to be fixed, I'm okay with it. I respect your decision and judgment.
  • Hi @EstEarth202

    Thanks for using our products.

Please wait a moment while we check with our development team about this matter.

    Best regards.
  • If you find out anything, please let me know. I am currently researching models and rigging models so that I can identify and work on the parts of the model that need this feature or may not be used anymore.
