[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated October 16, 2025)

macOS v26 Tahoe is now supported!
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.
Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

Pixel art support

I have been using Live2D for a long time, but I could never understand why it lacks the ability to properly load pixel graphics, you have to increase the pixel size by 5 times, which is terribly annoying, we basically just need to turn off image filtering in the settings, please think about it, pixel graphics in games are a very common occurrence.

Just add the ability to turn off texture filtering so you can see the minimum pixel of the image, your rendering team should know what I mean.

This is what happens if you load a texture with pixel art now, it's impossible to work with blurry pixels

To avoid making plans too much, is there a chance that this will be in the next closest version? for example, in 5.3
  • Hi @JekSun97

We are sorry, but we are unable to answer about future development plans.

    Best regards.
  • please add support for pixel graphics, this is a cry from the heart :'(
after all 5.3 is already very close!

  • Jeksun It is not easy to implement new features to a professional program, you make plans for it first and then you do the testing, they are focused on finishing 5.3, stopa sking them to implement a feature they already told you they will think about... please, as a respect for the developers of the program
  • I understand, but I am a C++ and OpenGL developer myself, there is nothing complicated there, just change glTexParameteri to GL_NEAREST, and that's it!
The investment in the code is minimal, and it is not difficult to implement this before 5.3 is released =\
  • Thank you so much for adding this in 5.3... This feature is minimally complex to implement, I'm now abandoning your products in favor of Moho 2D, thanks for listening to the community.
