Problems with clipping

Hi there,

I want to clip a galaxy effect to the iris, and then clip that and the iris to the sclera, but whenever I do this, it shows the effect where the iris would be as well, outside of the sclera.

The same thing happens with highlights, when I move the iris, they stay clipped to the iris and visible outside of the sclera.

How can I fix this? Is there a setting somewhere that would help or is this unavoidable?

Thank you in advance. :)
