Failed to output. (-2039259484)

I am getting the following error when I try to save the model:

Failed to output. (-2039259484)
Information Dialog Box: https://ibb.co/LxxDd0d

I am at the very end of finishing the model and it has a lot of layers, parameters, deformers and physics applied.

What is the problem and how can I solve this?
Looking forward to answers ♡

Thank you for your continued support of Live2D products.

In order to investigate your inquiry, please tell us what software you used to create the original image. (ex. CLIP STUDIO PAINT, etc.)

Also, please submit the log file from below.

  • Thank you for the answer fukui.

I made the model with Clip Studio Paint and saved it as a PSD file. I also edited the file in Photoshop after.

    Here is the log upload:

Thank you for submitting the details of the software used to create the model and the log file.

The environment in which you created the model this time meets the criteria for the operating environment, so there is no problem.
We have checked the log file and found that the CMO3 file may have been corrupted for some reason, causing the automatic backup to fail.
Please check if there are any files in the backup folder that can be exported without problems.

Also, please upload the CMO3 file that is causing the problem so that we can further investigate the problem in more detail.

※We will do our best to solve the problem, but please understand that there is a possibility that we may not be able to repair the problem.
  • Hello fukui,

how exactly do I open a backup file?

So it is a problem of a backup file that can not be created while saving. Can I just turn the backups off?

And how does it happen that a file gets corrupted, is there anything I should keep in mind while rigging?

Is there a way I can send you the cmo3 file as a message? I don't want other people to download it.

    Thank you

    Thank you for your reply!
    We will answer your questions.

    >how exactly do I open a backup file?
▼How to check the automatic backup folder
Open the destination folder from the [Help] menu -> [Open Auto Backup Folder].
For details, please check the following link.
    https://docs.live2d.com/en/cubism-editor-manual/autosave/

    >Can I just turn the backups off?
    >And how does it happen that a file gets corrupted, is there anything I should keep in mind while rigging?
The automatic backup function cannot be switched off.
A similar problem is that if you have a project under cloud storage management, you may not be able to save the project. If you have a folder linked to cloud storage as a destination, please save it elsewhere to avoid this.
Since the reason for the failure of the automatic backup is unknown at this stage, we will investigate the last successfully saved CMO3 file.

    @blivexx
Thank you for sending the CMO3 file.

We are still investigating the problem, but we have edited the model so that it can be saved.
We have turned off the extended interpolation for the parameters "Head X" and "Head Y" and reduced the number of keys.
Can I send the repaired CMO3 file to the email address you provided when uploading the data?

We will continue to investigate the cause of the problem in more detail.
By referring to the sample model and making sure the number of keys is appropriate, the problem may not occur in the future.
The sample model can be downloaded from the following page.
    https://www.live2d.com/en/learn/sample/

    Best regards.
  • ueno thank you so much!

Why was the interpolation a problem? Is Live2D limited when it comes to the details in a work?

You can send it to me with the E-Mail, yes! Thank you.
  • @blivexx
    Thank you for your response.
We have sent you the CMO3 file by email, please check it.

    >Why was the interpolation a problem? Is Live2D limited when it comes to the details in a work?

We have not yet determined the cause of the above question and are continuing to investigate.
The only thing we can tell you at the moment is that if you turn off the extended interpolation function and reduce the number of keys, you will be able to save files, so save the number of keys.

We will contact you again when we have the results of our investigation.

    Best regards.
  • @blivexx
    Thank you for your patience.
We have completed our investigation and are pleased to report the results.

As expected, the cause was the use of extended interpolation for a large number of keys.
We have confirmed that when extended interpolation is used in this way, the file cannot be saved.
It is difficult to solve this problem on the Cubism Editor.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but as previously advised, please make adjustments during modeling.

We also apologize for the difficulty in understanding why saving fails.
We will work on this issue in order to make the reason easier to understand.

Thank you for your continued support of our products.
