[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated September 18, 2025)
We cannot guarantee the compatibility of the current releases of Live2D Cubism Editor and Cubism SDK with macOS Tahoe.
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.
Upgrading macOS can also cause you to lose your Cubism Editor license file.
Please make sure to deactivate your Cubism Editor license before upgrading the macOS.

To reproduce the issue:
1. Launch Live2D 5.0 with Internet connection
2. Confirm in Help menu > Online License Authentication the expiration is 7 days away
3. Close Live2D
4. Unplug PC from internet
5. Launch Live2D 5.0 again, it will show PRO/Free screen instead of validating the offline license.
Previous 4.x version works offline. I tested both in stable 5.02 and 5.03 beta1 has this issue. Please fix them because it doesn't seem to be intended behavior.

We are Live2D staff.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We will consider how to address this issue in the future, as it is an unexpected problem that this software always requires online authentication.
If you have no choice but to use the software offline, please activate the software in the online environment and continue to use it without exiting Cubism Editor.
As long as Cubism Editor is still running, you will be able to use it for a while even if it goes offline.
