Lock Deformer button causes performance changes
Even when locking all deformers and art meshes, program FPS changes when the Lock Deformer button is active. This video is with all of the model's folders locked, so no deformers or art meshes are visually being displayed. When the Lock Deformer button in the main window is enabled in this state, I gain about 5-6 FPS compared to when it is disabled.

I tested this in 4.2 as well, and while there isn't an FPS counter I am able to see a similar change in performance under the same circumstances.

Hello, there.
Please tell me the difference between Locking all deformer button and Lock Deformer button.
I don't understand your situation. Can you upload a screenshot the palette?
@obsidian
Sorry if my initial post was a bit misleading. I was using the FPS counter to add to my point, not specifically relying on it. Here's a video hopefully better showing the issue. Apart from the actual FPS stats showing, you can visually see the difference in lag between the different settings.

(Sorry for the mouse not lining up correctly, that's a capture software error)
From my understanding, there shouldn't be a difference in the performance result between locking all parts/deformers and using the Lock Deformer button. However, there is clearly a performance discrepancy.
Im sorry, I have no idea that the `Lock Deformer` button.
This is the `Lock all part/deformer` button, isn't it?
Then, where is the `Lock Deformer` button?
Sorry for the hassle, but I would appreciate it if you could attach a picture showing the procedure or the location of the button.
Thanks, cillia. I understand the button's diff.
@obsidian
I apologize for the late reply.
There is also a slight performance impact as hiding changes the amount of internal processing.
Also, since the internal processing differs slightly depending on the type of hiding, performance will also vary depending on these effects.
Please rest assured that this is normal behavior according to Cubism Editor specifications.
Thank you!
