[About macOS Sequoia] (Updated October 22, 2024)
Live2D Cubism Editor 5.1.02 now supports macOS Sequoia.
Other Live2D Cubism products currently released are not guaranteed to work on macOS Sequoia.
Please refrain from upgrading macOS, as it may not operate properly.
I request to have a special type of parameter that does not have Smooth interpolation.
Basically a parameter that snap the values between keyform instead of gradually increasing
E.g. if a normal parameter has a value that go to 0 - 0.1 - 0.2 - .... - 1
Then a Step Parameter will go from 0 instantly to 1 with no in-betweens.
Ideally this should be a checkbox like a 'Repeat' parameter does, so any parameter can be turned into Step without doing re-rigging. And of course it should work with SDK
Step Parameter is going to be really useful to emulate stepped interpolation without doing any work with graph editor in the animation mode, for example if you want to rig an object that switch opacity to display other object in an instant or if we want to emulate frame-by-frame animation. There are situations that we wish we can have a Step interpolation on a parameter in runtime, without doing motions work.
I hope such idea can be considered for future development!

Thank you for your contact.
This is Live2D Support.
I have shared this request with the developers.
We will use this as a reference for future development.
As you may already know, by using the animation Frame Step function, we create an expression that is close to your request.
Please check it out if you like.
