Hi all,
I'm a complete beginner with Live2D and currently still working on my Character assets.
Would you be able to freely update certain parts (Say like change color of Clothing parts) as long as the shape itself is the same?
Or do you have to completely start from scratch like doing the meshes and the rest all over again?

Thank you for your contact.
This is Live2D Support.
If the shape is the same, just replace it and you don't have to start over.
See Reimporting PSD for details.

hope that helps.
I have another question, would you be able to add more assets to a finished ones?
I only have basic character expressions right now, but would like to add more in the near future.
If you want to import a different shape, please refer to the following link to import the psd file and add a new part.

It is possible to increase the number of different designs of the same shape.
First, duplicate the art mesh in the Parts or Deformer palette.
Next, right-click on the original image in the Project palette and create a model image.
Finally, with the art mesh selected, you can increase the number of images for the model by right-clicking on the image in the project palette and selecting "Set as input image for selected art mesh".
hope that helps.
