I have an error message in the logs I can't decipher and the model won't export

I'm using
-Live2D Cubism Editor 5.2.03
-Windows 11
-Alienware Aurora R16
-GeForce RTX 4070
-13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900F
-32GB
-Clip Studio Paint

Every time I've tried to export the model, it loads for a bit but then the folder I export it to is just empty. I've connected vtube studio to live2D so I've been able to test the model as I've been going and it works fine in the physics menu. I've made several projects in Live2D and don't know what I did this time that would be causing the issue. I've tried going back and deleting a lot of the work I had most recently done so I didn't have to back track all the way to the start but I haven't been able to get a different result. I've checked the logs and I have an error message thats been spammed that says " -1 a - ctrl not found : [CDeformerGuid" and then a string of numbers. In between this error messages, there's a info message that says "debug info= AstaChibiModel CMvTrack_Live2DModel_Source / String]] (CMvTrack_Live2DModel_Source)". The model file is called "AstaChibiModel" but i don't understand what to do with the other information it's given. I feel like it's telling me to look somewhere but I'm just lost and don't want to have to start over.

  • How big is your CMO3 file ? it CANT be over 2Gb.
Could be as well a repeat parameter not having a parameter on the edges.
It can be a corrupted artmesh/mesh deformer (usually happens with skinning!)

The way i use to find this later one is i go deleting half of the model (by folders) and i see if it renders i slowly do that into the full model and i can pinpoint the problem.

The last option is that could be you added WAY too many PSD's and you are running out of memory once you render C:

I hope any of these helps!!!
  • Ok so deleting the model by folders to try and find the problem area was very helpful! I had been trying to do troubleshooting in a just not as efficient way by deleting parameter groups for some reason. Anyway! The issue was with the glue ID of some hair pieces being too long! can't be longer than 64 characters and my layers had names that were too detailed, so I just went and shortened the ID's!
