Edit glue in solo mode

edited June 2024 in Feature requests
When you enable solo mode, even if you have both meshes that have glue on solo, you cannot edit glue weight.

In cases where there is something above the meshes, this requires you to manually hide and unhide them just to edit the weight. It would be nice if you could edit glue in solo mode.

I found you can do the opposite: Select glue first, and solo later. Doesn't make sense the interface doesn't allow the opposite, but it works

  • Hi @Lithmariel

    Thanks for using our products.

I am very sorry, but I did not understand the procedure you indicated.
Do you mean that you want to edit a glue even if you start solo mode without selecting a glue?
If you don't mind, please elaborate on the ideal procedure.

    Best regards.

I think it's a minor issue. But the procedure that does not work is: Enter solo mode. Glue cannot be selected.

Now, if you first enter glue mode, THEN go solo mode, it works.

I made the topic before I realized it works in the latter way, so it's fine enough. It would have been a much bigger problem if you couldn't use solo while editing glue.
  • Hi @Lithmariel

Do you want to make an object ready for solo display and then select any object?
If you have any requests, we will share them with the development team.

    Best regards.
