[Regarding macOS Tahoe](Updated October 16, 2025)

macOS v26 Tahoe is now supported!
We advise against upgrading your macOS at this time as it may cause Live2D products not to function correctly.

5.0.00 Beta feedback - Deform brush UI is broken

The reticle for the deform brush displays incorrectly on the Mac (M-series) version of the 5.0.00 beta.

The brush only deforms using the innermost circle. You can still adjust the brush stiffness, but the double circle reticle no longer works as a guide for the stiffness of your selection.

Comments

  • EDIT: Turns out this is actually true of all reticles/cursors, and is also happening on the Windows version. Having the same problem with the selection brush, and even the eraser in the mesh edit window. The circle is much larger than the actual selection area.

We have investigated the possibility that the magnification rate of the display may be affected.
Please try changing the magnification settings to 100%, 125%, etc.

  • @Enoko(Staff) Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the magnification doesn't seem to have any effect on the brush issue
  • @bilvyy

    thank you for your reply.

After changing the magnification to 100%, even if you delete the setting file and restart Cubism Editor, does the result change?
    Please try it.
