Export quitting halfway

I've been using live2d for the past year and have never experienced this issue; when I try to export this specific model the program loads like a snail and then simply quits. There are no exported files to be seen.

Here's a video of what's happening:

My system has never been an issue and neither has model file size so I'm very confused as to what's happening. If anyone has any advice I'd really love to hear it!

  • Hello, @qvis
Thank you for your model files.

We checked the model you gave us and confirmed that it was taking a long time due to the large data.
If the memory capacity is insufficient, the data will not be exported.

I checked the details and found that the layer size of each original image was abnormal.
Normally each layer would be resized to fit the image, but many of them are campus size.
I am very sad because I was your nice finished model.

Did you use Photoshop or clipstudio to create the image?
Could you tell me about your PC environment?
    Live2D Software Version: (e.g. Cubism Editor 4.1.00 beta1)
OS & Version: (e.g. Windows 10, macOS HighSierra)
    PC Model: (e.g. MacBookPro 2017)
Video card: (e.g. GeForce GTX 950M)
    CPU: (e.g. Intel Core i7-7700)
    Memory: (e.g. 8GB)
Illustration Software used: (e.g. Photoshop, ClipStudio, SAI)

    We appreciate your cooperation
    Thank you.
  • I appreciate you looking into the issue, though I'm assuming there's no way to fix it.

Is it possible to change the memory capacity? I've exported larger files before. If it's simply the image sizing, would it be fixed with an image resize? I could even import the original psd onto Photoshop and export, then use the same parts & physics data in Live2d to preserve the model.

I'm not the creator of the image so I'm not sure what program was used.

  • Hi, @qvis

Cubism Editor 4 automatically adjusts the memory usage, so you may be able to solve this problem by minimizing the memory usage outside of Editor.

The other way is to modify and replace the psd data, or you need to do the modeling again.
    The following may be helpful.
    PSD reimport:https://docs.live2d.com/cubism-editor-manual/psd-re-import/?locale=en_us
    Download Photoshop Scripts:https://www.live2d.com/en/download/ps-script/

    hope that helps!
