  thanks for the answer, the system meets the requirements
  
  specs:
  os: windows 10
  cpu: i7 6700k
  gpu: gtx 960 4gb
  ram: 16gb
  
  and all the drivers are up to date

  Thanks for posting your specs. The Java 1.8 2D UI the editor uses does not always play well with graphics cards. One user reported a similar issue on the Japanese forum and was able to solve it by updating both the drivers and Windows itself which you have probably done.
  Could you try out the following?
  
  1) Open the NVIDIA control panel.
  2) Go to 'Manage 3D settings'
  3) Select 'High-performance NVIDIA processor' for the Java and apply the settings (see screenshots below).
