[Android SDK] How to change background image texture runtime

Hi, I've been trying to change the background texture in the example but I haven't been able to do it.

I know you can setup the background at start in -> setupBackground()

but I don't know how to change it after startup. I tried adding this method in

public void remove() {
try {
InputStream in =;
bg.reset(gl, in);
} catch (IOException e) {


but it the background texture would be buggy and load the textures from the model

I am kind of new to openGL so I probably don't know what I am doing

any help would be great thanks!
